Helping Cyclists Ride Safer Since the 1980s
The Safety Sport Mirror has been part of our family story for decades.
Dad (Wayne Donohue) first discovered the mirror in the 1980s and quickly became a believer in its value for safer cycling. When he opened his bike shop in 1991, the Safety Sport Mirror became one of the products he trusted and recommended to fellow cyclists.
Years later, when the original inventor retired, Dad cared too much about the product to see it disappear. In 2012, he purchased the Safety Sport Mirror business to keep it alive for cyclists who relied on it.
In 2022, at age 89, Dad retired — and I proudly continue the tradition of offering a product we genuinely believe helps helps riders stay aware, confident, and focused on the road ahead.
